Realme V21 listed on 3C certification with 10W charging

A new Realme smartphone has been spotted on the 3C certification website. The upcoming handset will likely arrive as part of the budget Realme V-series. As usual, devices under this lineup are limited to the Chinese market. However, there is always a possibility of its arrival in other markets carrying a different moniker.  The device passed by the China Compulsory Certification, the 3C website, with the RMX3610 model number. The device in question is the rumored Realme V21 smartphone.

The listing does not bring many details about the devices but serves to confirm it comes with 10W charging. So far, the Realme V series bring smartphones such as the Realme V23, Realme V25, Realme V11 series, Realme V13 and Realme V15. The series also started with smartphones such as the Realme V3. As we said before, the series primarily consists of budget smartphones. However, there are some nice surprises such as the Realme V25 which brings 5G connectivity to affordable price levels. The first Realme V-series smartphone was one of the cheapest 5G smartphones.

Realme V21 possible specifications

Taking the Realme RMX3610 model number, the device may be the rumored Realme V21. Apparently, the phone will sit in the basic category of smartphones. After all, 10W charging isn’t common among mid-class smartphones anymore. The device will likely come with an Unisoc chipset. After all, this has been Realme’s favorite choice for super-budget smartphones. Despite the low charging capabilities, the phone may still bring a huge battery with at least 5,000 mAh capacity. While budget phones suffer in the charging tech, they’re still providing more battery capacity than the largest part of flagship devices.

It’s hard to determine whether the Realme V21 will be a 4G or 5G smartphone. If it does come with 5G connectivity, then we’ll discard the Unisoc chipset. The Chinese chipset manufacturer has announced the 5G chipset series last year, but we’re yet to see any of them reaching the market. For a 5G smartphone, we believe that Realme may stick with the usual MediaTek partnership.

For a quick comparison, the Realme V23 was introduced back in the last month. The device has a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, up to 12 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of Storage. Apart from the budget processor, the Realme V-series is always generous in the amount of RAM and Storage. The phone has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD screen and draws its powers from a huge 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. Furthermore, it has a 48 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The Realme V21 may be placed way below this device if we take the limited 10W charging as a parameter. For now, we’ll need to wait for more details.

Worth noting that the company is also preparing a new Realme V23I variant for the lineup.
