The iPhone 15 Ultra will be much more expensive

Apple iPhone - iPhone 15 Ultra

Although the iPhone 15 has yet to be released and Apple devices have never been completely affordable, rumors about the device’s price indicate that the company’s next smartphone will actually fall inside the luxury product category, especially the iPhone 15 Ultra which may replace the current Pro Max model.

We already know that the sharp rise in the cost of electronic components will contribute to a significant increase in the price of electronic devices in the upcoming months. As we know, Apple will raise the cost of its devices again in 2023. The iPhone 15 Ultra will have a basic price between $1199 and $1299, according to the Howtoisolve website. Prices for these products differ noticeably by between 9 and 18% from those for the current iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The website makes reference to the Ultra iPhone line, which is not currently available. Could it be that Apple decides to change the names of its products for another time? Or has the Cupertino company decided to expand its selection with a brand-new, much more advanced model? Although no one is certain yet, the rumor of a rising price is still very likely.

Apple is not the only one to blame for the iPhone’s price hike. It is true that everything will cost more given the current economic climate. We must accept that the price growth of high-end smartphones as a whole is natural when we consider that the company wants its products to differentiate itself from the competition with even tougher components like titanium.

One final point: as of right now, Apple is only thinking of offering the iPhone 15 Ultra in one color. Which is also the color of the Apple Watch Ultra. No one of the sources has seen any color other than the same as the Apple Watch Ultra, so we don’t know if that will be the only color offered in September or if there will be others.

what a surprise. It’s ok, it’s not because the average world population gets poorer by the day than Apple should stop increasing their phone prices. Can’t wait to see the iphone 23 at 7k€ while the average salary will be of 200€/month.
