OnePlus 11 5G Global Edition Could Be Slower – Know Before You Buy!

Would you settle for less?

OnePlus 11

From all that we know, February will be a big month for Android phones. Not only do we have the grand reveal of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 series, but also the global launch of the OnePlus 11. However, you might want to lower your expectations for the Cloud 11 event.

OnePlus 11 has already launched in China. From that, we got to know about the device. And as we are approaching the exclusive event in India, we got a report stating that the global version will not be the same. The international version will be slower in one crucial factor!

No 100W Charging Support for OnePlus 11 Global Version

A leaked marketing document, which tipster Snoopy Tech has shared, revealed that the international version would not support 100W SuperVOOC charging. Instead, it will be capped at 80W. That is like a 20% decrease in terms of charging speed!

But is that all that will be different for the global version of the OnePlus 11? Well, from leaked documentation, it seems that the other specs are the same. That means the international version will come with the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with LPDDR5x RAM as the Chinese variant.

The leaked documents also show that the OnePlus 11 international edition will come with UFS 4.0 storage and the same camera modules as the Chinese version. However, there are some changes in the RAM and storage options.

OnePlus 11

In China, the phone’s base model offers 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. However, the global variant of the OnePlus 11 is set to offer 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for the base model.

While this suggests a cheaper version, there is no confirmation in this regard. The trimmed-down base version might still have the equivalent price as the Chinese base model. Still, you should take these leaks with a grain of salt. Nothing is confirmed until OnePlus debuts the international version on February 7th.
