Windows 12 Might Come With Built-in GPT Features

Windows 12 with ChatGPT

When ChatGPT was out, it made a real furor in various spheres. Google was the first who wrinkled its forehead. Its closest rival, Microsoft, catch the moment and understood this AI chatbot will change the world (like it did in the 90s when released the first OS with GUI) and signed a $10 billion contract with OpenAI. So the Redmond company will be able to integrate AI into its search engine, Bing. The story doesn’t end here. Windows Latest reports that Microsoft is thinking of integrating the ChatGPT neural network into Windows 12. The developers of the Bill Gates firm have suggested to add new AI capabilities to standard applications like Clock, Calendar, Mail, etc.

Windows 12 Might Have AI Features

It is possible that some of the new AI features will even become available on Windows 11 via a major update. The latter will come in the coming months. It’s worth noting that Microsoft has started using AI to adjust the brightness during video calls, blur the background, and filter out noise.

We should also say that AMD has begun developing a new series of microprocessors that will support AI. AI accelerators will be built into the CPU by AMD. In fact, new semiconductor solutions will be analogous to mobile SoCs. With their help, Microsoft specialists will be able to put their ideas into practice. There is every reason to think that Intel is working on similar projects as well.

As for the release date of Windows 12, it should come in 2024. Our assumptions are based on the new roadmap adjusted by Microsoft. As you know, hereafter, Windows has a three-year release cycle.

I hate this style of writing. “the Redmond company”, “the Bill Gates firm” etc. Why not just say Microsoft? It’s so distracting from the article.
