Yesterday, OnePlus introduced a bunch of new products for global markets and some were specific to India. On top of all these products, the company unleashed the OnePlus 11 to compete in the market of flagship devices. Unlike the last four generations, the OnePlus 11 comes alone without a Pro variant. As per the rumors, the company has decided this save resources for its upcoming foldable phones. Whether that’s the case, we don’t know, but we know that the OnePlus 11 won’t be the only phone in the family. Apparently, OnePlus has a “OnePlus 11 Concept” phone to reveal at MWC 2023 in Barcelona.
OnePlus 11 Concept will bring an industry-first technology
The brand didn’t specify the date but revealed a press release for a OnePlus 11 Concept phone. As previously rumored, OnePlus is set to introduce a new concept. To those unaware, the first device was dubbed OnePlus Concept One and had disappearing cameras. It was presented at CES 2020 and had its conference scheduled for MWC. However, 2020 was a hell of a year, and the MWC got canceled. One year later, the company presented the OnePlus 8T Concept with a color-changing back. The color went from Gray to Blue to Black on Command. It also had a mmWave radar that could be used to detect hand gestures – yes, one of the greatest gimmicks on smartphones – the hand gestures.

Now, we don’t know exactly what the OnePlus 11 Concept phone has in tow. But considering the old devices, we expect something fancy, but not revolutionary. As per the press release, the phone will feature an “imaginative design with industry-first technology”. Since it’s an industry-first technology, the feature is open to speculation. Also, considering this is a concept phone, anything can be expected. For now, the only thing we can do is wait for more details. Thankfully, the MWC 2023 is not too far from the shores. The event begins on February 26 and will go on until March 2.
