Nokia C22 and C32 announced – budget battery monsters

Nokia C32

HMD Global has just announced its plans to expand its presence in Europe. The company will soon set up local manufacturing there. That certainly will bring benefits for the company and will allow them to push forward the Nokia smartphones. Nokia started focusing on the premium mid-range segment, we also saw a failed attempt at a flagship with the Nokia 9 PureView. Since 2020, Nokia has been focusing on the low-end segment, and apparently, that pays the bills. Today, Nokia is unveiling the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 for the low-end segment.

Nokia C22 and C32 specifications

The Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 bring the usual – an all-around package of specifications, and a big focus on the battery. The Nokia C32 is the first C-series phone to bring a 50 MP main camera, also it boasts a high-for-the-class standard with glass on both the front and back. Both the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 are IP52 rated. That will give them dust and water spray protection. Both phones have the same 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with curved 2.5D glass. Another shared trait is the 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging.

According to HMD Global, the Nokia C22 and Nokia C32 offer three days of battery life. However, we don’t know in what scenarios this is possible. We don’t expect it to last that long if you use the phone for gaming, watching a lot of videos, etc. That probably is the standby time. Anyway, Nokia states that there is an AI-powered battery-saving management that improves battery life.

Nokia C22 not expensive smartphone on Android Go with a decent battery. The mobilespecs are weak, the memory is not too much, the screen is standard. The cameras do not inspire confidence.
