According to rumors, the iPhone manufacturer plans to release operating system updates in the spring. We expect iOS 16.4, iPadOS 16.4, tvOS 16.4, watchOS 9.4, and macOS Ventura 13.3 later this month. Specifically, the 20th of March is the expected release date. Afterward, the update will be publicly available in the first week of April.
So far, Apple has released three public betas and three developer betas. However, we often get at least four beta releases. There is also a release candidate (software update) for testers with a version similar to the original. Let me give you a timeline of previous updates to guess the future release:
- iOS 16.3 was released on January 18 and launched on January 23.
- iOS 16.2 was released on December 7 and launched on December 13.
- iOS 16.1 was released on October 18 and launched on October 24.
Given this timeline, we expect Apple to release the update on March 28, April 4, or April 11. Apart from that, most software updates are released on Mondays and Wednesdays.
