We are getting closer and closer to the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Now, in case you missed it, the China launch is set for April 18, while the global debut is expected to follow soon after that. And ever since the launch date got confirmed, rumors and leaks regarding the device have been coming out non-stop.
From specs to availability information to the price, we pretty much know most about the Xiaomi 13 Ultra at this point. But even though there was a live image leak, we did not get any design render leak. Well, trusty leaksters Smartpix and OnLeaks have done it again! The stunning renders are now out!
Leak Showcases Stunning Design Details of Xiaomi 13 Ultra
So, the design renders of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra show that the phone will come with a curved edge design. As we know from the previous leak, there will be a huge round camera module on the back. And the back will feature a leather finish, which is likely to come in white and black colors.

Nonetheless, the camera setup is the main highlight in the renders. As you can see, the module protrudes a good amount, probably hinting at beefed-up camera sensors. According to the previous leaks, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to come with a 50MP Sony IMX 989, 50MP Ultra-wide, 50MP 3.2X Zoom, and 50 MP 5X Zoom sensors on the back.
Among all these, the show’s main star is the Sony IMX 989, a 1-inch type sensor with variable aperture. This sensor could make the battle between the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra quite interesting. And it would definitely be fun to see how the zoom sensors compare with the S23 Ultra’s Zoom capabilities.
That said, the front of the design render leak showcases a curved display, which will likely be a 120Hz 2K AMOLED screen. It will feature a hole punch on the center top, housing a 32MP front camera.
Been pretty satisfied with my 512Gb Xiaomi 12S Ultra & updates; maybe camera improvements?.
