OnePlus Nord 3 has been running through the rumor mill for several months. The device was, in fact, expected for the last year. However, OnePlus decided to launch just a revamped OnePlus Nord 2T. Now, the next king of the OnePlus Nord 3 seems to be finally giving real steps to go, official. The device was leaked before, and now it got the TKDN certification. The new listing suggests that OnePlus is in the final steps to make this device official.
OnePlus Nord 3 emerges on TKDN certification
The OnePlus Nord 3 has already been passed by the NBTC and TDRA. The latest TKDN certification confirms the phone with model number CPH2493. Further, it confirms support for multiple 5G bands – n1, n2, n5, n48, and n40. Apart from these details, the listing is not the most revealing of the certification processes. However, we already know what to expect thanks to a multitude of leaks.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is not exactly a new smartphone. At least not for those residing in China, where the device probably will be absent. The phone is in fact a rebadged OnePlus Ace 2V. That one went official in China in March. The device packs a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen that features Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz of refresh rate. Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 2V packs the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. MediaTek’s last year’s flagship chipset should be quite good when you’re paying the price of a mid-range phone. It will come with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage. The device will run on a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
In terms of optics, there will be a 64 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro snapper. The front-facing camera will be a 16 MP selfie shooter. On the software front, the phone will run on Android 13 based on OxygenOS 13.1.
The rumors point to a launch in June or July this year. But considering the number of leaks, we won’t be surprised to have an official word in the coming weeks. We are also expecting a OnePlus Nord CE 3 to be released soon, joining the recently-launched OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.
