Vivo is not done with the X90 series of its phones. The lineup is expected to soon get a new addition. And it appears that you will not need to wait long to see it debut. Wondering why? A brand-new phone named Vivo X90s leaked in Google Play Console last week!
That basically gives away the fact that the new phone will not take long to make its official appearance. But as Digital Chat Station has revealed, the phone will not be a revamped version of the original X90 or X90 Pro. Instead, the Vivo X90S will only offer some minor hardware tweaks.
Vivo X90S Core Specs Revealed
As per the Google Play Console, the X90S will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+. It will feature one ARM Cortex X3 prime core, 3 Cortex A715 cores, and 4 Cortex A510 efficiency cores. From previous info, it’s confirmed that the ARM Mali G715 will be the GPU. But the real question is, can it compete with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2?

Well, as previously teased, the Dimensity 9200+ performs better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship in Geekbench. So, the Vivo X90S should be a better pick than most of the current Android flagship devices. To be exact, it will be a better performer than all the current X90 devices that Vivo has in its lineup.

The Google Play Console leak also confirmed that the phone will come with 12GB of RAM and Android 13 out of the box. On the front side, the Vivo X90S will feature a 1260 x 2800 px display with a punch-hole cutout. The latest info suggests that it will be a 6.78-inch OLED screen with curved edges. And it is likely to be a panel from BOE.

When it comes to the camera, the Vivo X90S will boast a 50MP IMX866 as the primary sensor. It will be accompanied by the V2 ISP of Vivo. Overall, things are looking good for the phone. Hopefully, we will see it debuting at an attractive price on May 10.
