Chinese Electric Smart Car Clone Yours for $1700

Electric Smart Car Clones china
Electric Smart Car Clones

We’ve known for a while that a small factory in the outskirts of Shandong province have been making there own version of the Smart car. The Chinese produced copy is hand ‘crafted’ from fibreglass and uses an electric drive-train.

Gizchina News of the week

The outside of the vehicle looks suprisingly similar to the genuine article, the interior however leaves much to be desired!

The only details we’ve been able to uncover are that the eSmart is available in either a hard top or soft top configuration, uses a standard wall plug for overnight charging and starts from a wallet friendly 12000RMB ($1700).

We’ll post more as we get it.

All of the things here are available in China, and I’m sure they can be found in other countries but with larger price tags and under different brands;)

    Hi Andi,

I’d agree to a degree with the original poster – I know my way around Taobao very well for example, but I really struggle to find most of the items you blog about to buy them.

I understand you’re not here to sell stuff, but if you could post any links I think everybody would appreciate it.

Great website btw, keeps me amused for hours on end!

Ok doke I’ll see if I can add some links next time then πŸ™‚
