China’s Colorfly announces Tegra 4 tablet

Shenzhen based Colorfly plans to join Nvidia in the tablet game with the Colorfly T709 Tegra 4 powered tablet.

The Chinese tablet scene has been a little stagnant over the past few months, with just a few iPad mini clones keeping the life and interest level just above sea level. There is hope though, new tablets such as the Colorfly T709 are bringing much-needed excitement to the market.

Gizchina News of the week

Colorfly have announced the T709 will go on sale very soon (likely over the coming October holiday). Specs include a 7-inch 1280 x 800 display, 1GB RAM, 4GB memory, SD card expansion, 2 mega-pixel front camera, 5 mega-pixel rear, a 4100mAh battery and of course a 1.8Ghz Tegra 4 processor.

Pricing hasn’t been announced but it will likely be below $230 for customers living in China.
