Lenovo to launch fast camera phone on May 18th?

lenovo teaser

Lenovo tell us that they have a product launch on May 18th, which will have a feature that is as fast as a bulit! Another camera phone from the PC maker?

Lenovo have already entered the camera-centric market with their Vibe Shot, but another model with faster focus could be ready to launch as early as May 18th. Specifics are not yet known but the phone seems to heading to China only (at least for the start) and will feature a super fast camera.

Gizchina News of the week

Vivo just recently released the Vivo X5Pro with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus), and it seems likely the new Lenovo device will share a similar technology allowing for extremely fast and accurate focus. If you’re not sure about PDAF then take a look at iPhone 6 camera reviews to get an idea of what the system if capable of.

If this is just an updated version of the current Vibe Shot then we also expect OIS, and a triple LED arrangement. More details later in the month.

Most likely another dream phone most persons may never be able to purchase. Wish we had networks putting up such devices on contract.

Don’t think the Vibe Shot is even released until June and then only in established territories.

Looking at picture My guess would be. 1st phone with the 1080P 240FPS slow mo videos With the MT6797 or Heliox10 soc and 20.7MP Sony sensor.

We have seen phones using that chip but none has taken the advantage of the slow mo feature of that soc.

The Vibe X3 was rumered earlier this year for MWC release with these specs. But never showed up. Lets see now.!
