There's A Mystery Vivo Phone Hiding On Geekbench Right Now

There's an unannounced Vivo phone quietly working its way through China's certification pipeline, and it's dropping hints faster than Vivo is confirming anything officially.

Model number V2603A. That's all we had a couple weeks ago, back when it cleared CMIIT certification at the end of July. Then 3C certification followed a few days back. Now it's turned up on Geekbench, and this time we're actually getting hardware specifics instead of just a model number floating around.

The listing points to a MediaTek MT6881 chip, four cores at 2.0GHz, four at 2.60GHz, paired with a Mali-G625 MC2 GPU. Translation: this is the Dimensity 7500 under the hood, MediaTek's newer upper-midrange chip that's already showing up across a few different phones this year. Alongside it, 12GB of RAM and Android 16, almost certainly running OriginOS 6 given who's making this.

The 3C listing adds one more piece, 44W charging. Not blazing fast by 2026 standards, but perfectly reasonable for whatever tier this phone's aiming at.

Here's where it gets genuinely uncertain though: nobody knows if this ships as a Vivo phone or an iQOO. Sounds like a small detail, but it matters, because the Vivo camp already has two Dimensity 7500 phones circling right now. There's the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition (S60e), which launched a couple months back in China with 90W charging, and there's the iQOO Z11, gearing up for its own India launch on August 20 with, so far, zero confirmed charging specs.

So is the V2603A a rebadge of one of these, or a genuinely separate phone carving out its own space in the lineup? To be honest guys, I don't think we CLEARLY know yet. The 44W charging power doesn't match the S60e's 90W, which at least rules out a straight rebrand there. However, it could still be a version of the Z11 tuned differently for China, or something entirely new. We'll see which certification or leak clears that up next.
