Samsung has not officially introduced One UI 9.5 yet, but the first comparison with version 9.0 has already appeared. On November 6, leaker Ice Universe shared two screenshots on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. Both were taken on a Galaxy S26 Ultra. One shows One UI 9.0 on the left, while the other shows One UI 9.5 on the right. His conclusion was brief: the changes are not significant. Samsung has not commented on One UI 9.5 so far.

Screenshots Show Only Samsung Health, Not the Entire System
Ice Universe's images show the Samsung Health interface, which tracks users' health and fitness. The card layout, colors, and rounded elements look similar in both versions. According to the leaker, the differences are minor.
However, we cannot use this comparison to judge the entire operating system. The screenshots do not show the settings, notification panel, or home screen. Samsung Health already received improved trend charts and sleep tracking in version 9.0, so this app is not the best way to measure broader system changes. Ice Universe also did not specify which software builds the screenshots came from.

One UI 9.0 Is Already Available, While Samsung Is Still Testing Version 9.5
One UI 9.0, based on Android 17, arrived on several Galaxy S26 models on September 16, 2026. According to SamMobile, the first test build of One UI 9.5 appeared on Samsung's servers for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It carries the firmware designation S948BXXU6ZZK3.
Android Authority also reported similar information and shared additional details about the build number. SamMobile expects the beta program to begin in late November or early December. However, this is only an estimate, as Samsung has not announced an official date.
The stable version of One UI 9.5 could arrive alongside the Galaxy S27 series in 2027, based on current expectations.

Chinese Users Complain That One UI 9.0 Is Still Missing
Comments under Ice Universe's post reveal another complaint. Owners of Chinese phone models say they are still waiting for One UI 9.0, even as news about version 9.5 begins to appear.
Another comment raises concerns about battery drain, overheating, and occasional slowdowns on older devices. These are personal experiences rather than verified test results. Still, they reflect other reports of Wi-Fi and SIM card problems following the One UI 9 update.

Samsung Has Not Revealed One UI 9.5 Features Yet
Samsung has not published an official list of new features for One UI 9.5. Until a beta becomes available, this comparison should be treated as an early impression rather than a complete picture.
If the interface remains almost unchanged, the main question will be whether version 9.5 improves stability, battery life, and useful AI features. In my view, Samsung still has room to improve in these areas following the One UI 9 update.
