Samsung Galaxy S26 Gets One UI 9 Stable Update in More Countries

Samsung is finally expanding the stable One UI 9 update for the Galaxy S26 series to more countries. After starting in South Korea and then moving to the US, the Android 17-based update is now reaching users in Europe, India and other markets.

This is the rollout Galaxy S26 owners have been waiting for. Samsung had already confirmed that One UI 9 would arrive on the S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra, but the wider release took longer than expected.

The stable update is now appearing for Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra users outside Samsung's first launch markets. Reports confirm availability for beta testers in Europe and India, with a wider rollout expected to follow.

The exact timing still depends on the country, model and carrier. So, if you have a Galaxy S26 and do not see the update yet, that does not mean your phone has been left out.

The rollout is simply happening in stages.

One UI 9 is based on Android 17 and adds several new features to the Galaxy S26 series.

One of the most interesting is My FanCam. It can track a selected person in a video and automatically keep them centered as they move. Samsung has also added editable Now Brief cards, Now Nudge and improvements to Creative Studio, Interpreter and Document Scan.

There is also a new Warranty and Care section inside Settings. It gives users access to warranty information, device diagnostics and repair options.

For me, My FanCam is one of the more useful additions. It solves a simple problem without asking users to manually edit the video afterward.

Samsung's wider rollout is now clearly underway, but not every country will receive One UI 9 at the same time. Some regions may still have to wait until October.
