Blackview is going to release new rugged phone Blackview BV6000 in May

Last Blackview outdoor model was released in October in form of BV5000 and not even half a year after that we have already a successor coming with Blackview  BV6000.

Main feature of the BV6000 is of course going to be the IP68 certification making the phone water and dust resistant. Other features will include 4.7-inch HD display covered by third generation Gorilla Glass, octa-core MT6755 processor clocked at 2 GHz,  3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage expandable with microSD and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Phone will also have metal frame, 4G support on 800/1800/2100/2600 frequencies, dual SIM support, 4500 mAh battery capacity with fast charge 5V2A support.

Main camera will be 13 Mpix with f/2.0 aperture, front one 5 Mpix with 85 degree angle coverage. Most probably also NFC, compass, gyroscope, pressure sensor, GPS + Glonass and SOS button.

If you are wondering about the price then it’s going to be surely higher than the previous BV5000 generation and most certainly higher by far than the currently available budget one Blackview A5, which is in presale for 39.99$. But outdoor models are always pricier so BV6000 is  expected to carry about 200$ price tag and come to the market during next month.

Previous Bezel-less Ulefone Future listed at $269.99
Next Nubia Z11 Mini launched with Snapdragon 617 for $230

The BV5000 was a really bad quality phone. Maybe the non-rugged Blackview phones, have less damage than this… LOL!

Let’s hope they don’t load it with Malware like the bv5000.
