EleSecret fingeprint U-disk will be easy to use

EleSecret

Elephone are really branching out lately and we have seen quite some new products in totally new product lines and everything. One of those is the EleSecret U-disk, which is more or less a secure flashdisk focused on the real privacy of your data thanks to the fingerprint access restriction.

As you can see on the picture below the handling of the actual disk will be super simple with just five functions available in the settings. Most of them are pretty self explanatory so no need to delve deeper. EleSecret will be divided into two storage areas, public working like a normal flash drive and the private, where you need the fingerprint to access the data in there.

Is a good idea to encrypt a partition and make it available only after authenticated by fingerprint.
The downside, however, could be that in the case where the fingerprint reader should fail or no longer work, their data would be lost forever, I guess!

This guy is using translator to reply in English…

El is probably so greedy when it comes to quality control, that they can’t even hire spammers, who understand English.

Is a problem for you?? I’m Italian, and I don’t know perfectly english language, and sometimes, on some phrase, I help myself with google translator.
Please, let me read where is wrote, that I can’t use Google translator.

Never ever don’t let anybody replace your password with fingerprint. Fingerprints (unlike passwords) are not changeable and in case of a leak or stealing you’re busted, FOR LIFE. Fingerprint however can replace your username (your identity, which is also not changeable, unless you’re Kylie Jenner;))

A USB stick with a fingerprint reader. If remember good, many years ago, another company tried this technology with poor results, we hope that Elephone will be able to do it better!

I have often been in situations where I pretended don’t have a USB stick, just because I had inside a data that I didn’t want that other users seen.
This is the solution to my problem!

I think that 60 euro are not so many for a pen drive with 64 Giga of storage, especially if we consider that it has a function that few brands give you. The brands that offer it to you, have a relatively high price as the other user previously posted.

The price seem to be high, but it depend that is 64 Gb, an idea would be to evaluate the hypothesis to releasing even several cuts, in order to give the client choose how much space to choose and at what price, so I think it could sell more … anyway looks like a great product!
