Anyone interested for one of the first ever smartphones in the world with 8GB of RAM? Yes, you can now pre-order the Nubia Z17 model with 8GB of RAM in two storage variants that will surely satisfy the needs of almost every hard core Andoid user I guess.

This is the first time the 8GB RAM version of Nubia’s flagship will be available since its launch and two variants are for pre-orders: the 8GB RAM + 64GB storage version available with a 3,199 Yuan ($480) price tag and a more exclusive variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB that will cost 3999 Yuan ($587) in the Chinese market.

Both versions are now available for pre-order on Nubia’s official website and on Nubia official flagship store on Jingdong.

In case you forgot already, the Nubia Z17 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 clocked at 2.45GHz and packs a bezel-less 5.5-inch 1080p display panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The Z17 is fueled by a 3200mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4.0, meaning, the phone can go from 0% to 50% in a mere 25 minutes. Not just this, the Z17 comes with the Dolby Atmos speaker and an IR blaster. The Nubia Z17 is IP67 certified and can withstand depths up to 1m. The camera on the back is a dual sensor setup with a 23MP and 12MP sensor that support 2x optical and up to 10x dynamic zoom. The front features a 16MP f/2.0 snapper with 80 degree wide angle lens.

GSM Arena has one, just Google it. It’s considered a pretty good phone, but doesn’t really stand out much from the competition. Biggest weakness is a generic IPS screen with bad color accuracy, and is the lack of international support, they concentrate on home base China, so the international ROM’s are usually full of bad translations and problematic.
