Huawei Honor 7X receives 3C certification in China; features Kirin 670


An upcoming Huawei smartphone, rumored to be the Huawei Honor 7X has appeared in leaked images along with a document which shows that the device has received 3C certification.

The Huawei Honor 7X is speculated to sport a full metal body. Some of the leaked images show a USB Type-C port flanked by the speaker grill and the 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner lies on the back below the dual camera setup.

The smartphone is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display with the Kirin 670 under the hood coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of onboard storage. The Kirin 670 is the mid range offering from Huawei. The phone is expected to be powered by a 4,000mAh battery. On the back, it is speculated to sport a dual camera setup consisting of a 12MP RGB sensor and a 12MP monochrome sensor.

The Kirin 970 is a mid range processor by Huawei which is rumored to have been built using the 12nm manufacturing process. Reports indicate the presence of 2 custom Moscow cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four Cortex A52 cores running at 2.0GHz. The GPU on this chip is expected to be the Mali G72MP4.

Currently, there is no information regarding the launch of the Huawei Honor 7X but we expect it to launch soon in the coming month or so. Watch this space for more!
