The Huawei Mate 20 Lite and it’s siblings have been frequenting the rumour mill more than ever. Today, Evan Blass revealed on Twitter the three colour variants of the Mate 20 Lite.

Apparently, the Mate 20 Lite will come in Black, Gold and Blue colours, a staple combination in most Huawei phones these days. The Mate 20 Lite recently appeared in renders unveiling its complete design. Before that the phone passed by TENAA confirming its existence. According to the design and specs we know so far, the Mate 20 Lite will be the least feature-rich phone in comparison to the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Its higher spec’dĀ siblings are expected to come laden with goodies that every flagship phone is expected to offer.

According to a leaked display panel that was reported yesterday, the Mate 20 will sport a 3D Face Recognition tech in conjunction with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Mate 20 Lite is expected to be priced at $400 if an earlier report is to be believed. You can check out the TENAA listing with all the specs here.
Huawei has not yet revealed the launch date of the Mate phones, but judging from the occurrence of leaks, it looks like the launch is not far away.
Now if only Huawei would see sense and provide bootloader unlock codes again, the future 980 based phones would definitely be with worth having.
