    Both scheduler and memory menagment on Linux are light years ahead of iOS. Samsung never whose a good example regarding optimisations for both. It’s inreresting to point out how game’s he tested use completely different API’s & probably also different rendering approaches so it’s apple’s and oranges. It’s natural that EGLS will load slower (even more so if it’s tied to tile rendering) compared to more SMP oriented newer one’s. Other than that iOS initialisation advantage lies in that it doesn’t have to reclaim RAM ahead of lunching huge game. There are still better approaches for a mobile like app snapshot one’s (Atari, DF BSD).
