Amoi N809 Dual-core MTK MT6577 Update on the way

It seem's every Chinese phone maker worth their salt is taking advantage of the low price dual-core MTK chip, which is great new for us! The next low-cost dual-core MTK MT6577 phone will be the Amoi 809.

Not to be mistaken with the bright orange Amoi N820 4.5 inch phone here, the Amoi 809 is an updated version of the current Amoi N808 Chinese phone. The N808 is currently on sale with a single core MT6575 cpu and TFT screen, which while functional aren't the most impressive specs we currently seeing from Chinese phone makers.

To address this the N808 will be renamed the N809 and receive a dual-core MTK MT6577 cpu and all new IPS screen which should give the low cost Android phone more bang for your buck and much crisper visuals.

No launch date or price has been announced but we'll update you as we get the news.
