Google’s ‘Gem’ smartwatch to come this month?


The fact that the massive Google Inc. has been working on a smartwatch for a while is a known for a while now. This eagerness to join the smartwatch league comes after Samsung and Sony successfully launched their smartwatches in the market a few weeks back.

Google’s take on the smartwatch, codenamed ‘Gem’, might well be on its way to a launch. According to the rumor mills, which have been surprisingly accurate of late (read: iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, etc), this wearable device from the search giant could launch on the 31st of October, coinciding with the launch of Android v4.4 KitKat.

Google Nexus

Google has been in the news of late, with the release of their latest generation Nexus smartphone expected soon. Although there have been no image leaks of the Nexus smartwatch (unlike the phone counterpart), we would like to believe in this bit of news, being technology enthusiasts. However, like any other leak, it is advised you take it with a pinch of salt!

    i do like the design .However they could have made it a bit more round on the back .It kinda liiks like a small cell on a wrisband.
    I hope some company makes a nice steel buff and manly looking smartwatch with GPS .Compass and the other gimicks .But most of alll BIG BATTERY
