Stable release of CyanogenMod for Oppo Find 5 released

Oppo and CyanogenMod’s partnership has already kicked of with the first stable release of the alternative Android ROM for the Oppo Find 5.

Oppo have been the first Chinese phone manufacturer to embrace developer support. They released the source codes for the Find 5 as they should, have promised to do so for the R819, and have teamed up with CyanogenMod with the N1.

Find 5 owners can experience CyanogenMod for their handsets right now, as the first stable release (version 10.1.3) is now available to download from this link.

We hope that Oppo’s work with CyanogenMod has shaken rival phone makers up to launch their source code too! We understand that Xiaomi are planning too, but we would also like the likes of Meizu, Vivo and especially Mediatek do the same.
