Allwinner unveils octa-core A80 equipped Optimus Board

Chinese chipset maker Allwinner have released a photo of it’s new Optimus Board featuring the company’s A80 octa-core processor.

Gizchina News of the week

The Optimus Board is designed as a type of Android based mini PC board featuring dual USB ports and other expansion options suitable for developer use. At the heart of the set up is the A80 octa-core processor featuring BIG.little technology. Depending on what you ask the processor to do power will be switched from the little Cortex A7 to the larger A15 cores.

Although unconfirmed, it is highly likely we will see more of the Optimus Board from Allwinner at CES later this month.
