WCDMA JiaYu F1 on sale from $75.99 to international customers

As promised the WCDMA version of the JiaYu F1 has gone on sale, and as expected it costs slightly more than it does here in China.

The JiaYu F1 is the most affordable smartphone JiaYu have produced, but retains the same high quality and attention to details we have come to expect from the company. The F1 is aimed at the entry-level market and features a 4-inch display, dual-core processor, 512mb RAM, WCDMA 3G support and dual SIM stand-by. There are also a couple of cameras for video chats and taking the odd photo.

Gizchina News of the week

Prices for international customers start from $75.99 for the black JiaYu F1 and rise to $79.99 for the white JiaYu F1, the phone is on sale now.

There are other phones in market with similar specs..but these specs and JiaYu build quality and reputation makes this phone highly desirable especially in context of a country like India, where would be a best seller. If Xiaomi, Gionee can come directly to India, so should JiaYu..it will reap a rich harvest in moderately priced smart phones, some thing which will sell by hundreds of millions in next 5 years.

And why are you comparing a 5.7 Inch to a 4.0 Inch???? Sry but apart from price and the other specs, that just doesn’t fit into one category.

I’m just comparing the overall value, screen quality, ram, CPU etc etc. For a little bit more, you get something that performs better, is easier on the eyes, may take better photos/videos etc etc… If the larger screen size bothers some people, quit wearing skinny jeans or get an iPhone lol =)

it might be “a little bit more” in absolute terms, but 119 is about 57% more than 76. So the specs aren’t that impressive.

If you can find something with similar or better specs for a better price, by all means please enlighten us… Otherwise those specs and the smaller screen would be something considered years and years old in a technology standpoint or point of view… Of course it’s an entry-level device, but 512mb’s of RAM would force close/crash many apps of today. Wouldn’t you agree? Also I found out that if I order at least 10, the price drops to around $100 each… Which is great since I’m interested in reselling these products in general…

Keep in mind all of this is coming from somebody who is currently using a Galaxy Note 3 and loving it. =)

I agree with you, as you know, Jiayu can create the model at such lower price, you can see it’s a rare chance now!

Does anybody know where to find a full review of the F1? Will there be one on gizchina soon?

So what originally started out as 1280×720 w/ 8mp camera, is now 800×480 w/ 5MP camera. Real shame, could have been a game changer. As it is i’d rather spend a little bit more and get a decent spec.

My Jiayu G2 (Ram=512M) has almost the same spec and cost twice as more when I bought it….. technologies….

I love Jiayu and my next serious phone will definitely be a Jiayu again. I actually wait for the S2 but hopefully an upgrade will come with the LTE 6595 (or what’s the number again?)
Anyway, in the meantime I have ordered the Faea F2, 5″ screen 1.2 quad core MTK6589, NFC etc as a phone to cover the gap until the S2 is properly out. For now they sell it for $99 which is a pretty good deal I thought.

Although I love Jiayu, I like a little more specs and personally look for flagship phones, more as a relatively cheap gadget (it’s Chinese stuff.. Let’s be honest)
So the F1 just doesn’t cut it for me but definitely looks like a good phone! For sure anyone who will buy one will not be disappointed πŸ™‚
