We recently spotted the Xiaomi Redmi Note running MIUI V6 based on Android 4.4, today Xiaomi announced official beta testing.
Today Xiaomi reached out to its hordes of fans asking a few to apply and become a beta tester for MIUI V6 based on Android 4.4 Kitkat. The beta test is for the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note, but only the 4G LTE model of the phone and not the Mediatek powered 3G phablet.

Xiaomi will be announcing the final list of beta testers and sending the ROM out by this Friday. Chances are someone will let it leak so keep your eye peeled.
