Elephone Trunk gets Android 6.0

Elephone have posted a link to CyanogenMod 13 for the Snapdragon powered Elephone Trunk bring Android 6 to the budget phone.

Elephone's first Snapdragon powered phone also happens to be one of their most affordable device to date. The Elephone Trunk was released a few months ago, and boasted a nice design, simple hardware and decent performance.

With a Qualcomm chip inside we did speculate that we might see custom ROMs for the phone, and low and behold here they come. Posted on the Elephone forums are details of CyanogenMod 13 for the sub $100 while brings the OS up to Android 6.0.

Not only does this make the Elephone Trunk the first available Elephone to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but the Trunk is now one of the very few Chinese phones to have Android 6 at all!
