Ulefone Vienna extra functions video

Ulefone Vienna

Lot has been said about the upcoming audio-centric smartphone Ulefone Vienna already, but the company keeps fueling the fire. So today we have video showcasing some extra features of the phone.

Fast and precise fingerprint scanners are becoming a common thing nowadays so Vienna cant surprise much with having on of those, but extra physical key for camera and voice recording control is surely nice to have. Or the IR blaster for home applicance control for that matter. And on top of that usable offscreen gestures and somato-sensory functions ? Yes please šŸ™‚

Gizchina News of the week

I would really like of this phone design… but these painted buttons are ugly.

At least the buttons aren’t software buttons.

Martin has a penchant for quality literature and port wine but the english language is taking a beating here…

The Ulefone Viennea looks really nice, but sadly the SoC is too weak for my taste.

Only fool people would their money with this brand. If you have 170ā‚¬ to waste with Fisher Price phone I rather waste with a LeTV or Meizu. I have many Chinese phones and Ulrome was the worst. Anyway Samsung S7 Edge is the best I ever bought.

S7E is very good…. and most expensive also. There are no sense comapre “med” and “hi end”. Using your words “only fool people pay ~800$” if they dont need S7 extra features.

i think he/she is trolling, or least thee credibility went to trash when they mentioned the s7 for comparison

DonĀ“t think he is trolling – there are plenty of horror stories around about Ulephone.

Well call me biased I can’t say that there aren’t many complaints but from my POV there seems to be more in the positive, then again maybe it’s just me but I don’t think the brand is as bad as elephone complain wise or otherwise

Never said that it is all bad for Ulephone but, letĀ“s put it like this, it is not an established brand. So it isnĀ“t surprising to find a disgruntled former owner of one of their phones. HeĀ“s not trolling but letting off some steam.

No, I am not compering them both. I am saying that I would rather have a Meizu or LeTV. Also I said my experience with those are as good as my S7 Edge. Plus with that money you can have a better device. Ulefone can’t make phones!

Not all experiences with ulefone are bad. I’ve used my ulefone Paris since November and I’m more than happy with it. Sure, it can’t compete with the latest flagships in raw power but then again it costs a fraction of the price as well. The hardware is more than fine and I have had no issues with the software. I’ve received 4 or 5 OTA’s during that time which I personally think is excellent from a manufacturer as small as ulefone. Certainly more than I expected anyway.
I think, yes, they are a small company. Yes, they have done mistakes in the past and probably will do some more in the future but the certainly try to improve their game day by day.

I would be looking for this phone only for infrared itself, not many chinese phones have infrared.

How does one browse this site?
Clicking on “Load More” at the bottom of the page redirects to “https://www.gizchina.com/#” which is of not much use.
Right now, I click “Phones” at the top and am then able to view the pages that come after. But I do not want to do that for each category in order to catch up on everything.
