Oppo A59 is now official, but priced Oppo high

Sporting an all metal body, MediatekĀ chipset and 3GB RAM the Oppo A59 is now officially available in China.

The Oppo A59 was spied on TENAA a while back and now it has been officially listed on the Oppo website in China. Priced at 1799 Yuan the A59 appears to be a decent mid-range contender on the surface, with an all metal body, octacore chipset, 3GB RAM and 13 mega-pixel camera, but upon closer inspection the specs are a quite a bit lower than similar priced phones.

Gizchina News of the week

Oppo have opted for a 5.5-inch HD display on the Oppo A59 and the chipset is a basic Mediatek MT6570 with Mail T860 GPU. The phone isnā€™t even running Marshmallow and instead the ColorOS ROM is based on Android 5.1 instead.

There are a few nice features though such as the all metal construction, largeĀ 3075mAh battery, VOOC fast charging and room for a 128GB SD card, however we canā€™t help thinking the ZUK Z2 with 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 820 is a much better purchase at the same price.

Darn Andi, next time if you are high then don’t write any articles.

Oppo never sell their product cheaply, all their products are overprice LOL
Still don’t understand why they can sell so many units though with that kind of price
