Next Tango device is going to be the Zenfone AR!

The Lenovo Phab2 Pro’s going to have to step aside pretty soon, a new Project Tango device is coming soon. Freshly leaked just moments ago, Asus’s brand new device the Zenfone AR is going to be the next in line!

This all began when Asus carelessly posted a blog post about the unreleased device, in extreme detail too. The aptly named Zenfone AR will run on the Snapdragon 821 chipset, which should give it great performance. It also means it’ll render Lenovo’s Phab2 Pro obsolete, given the pricing is good.

It’s not often you see companies leak their own devices.

Asus also points out that they’ve made the first Tango and Daydream ready device in the Zenfone AR. This makes it an industry first, which would’ve been a nice surprise if they didn’t leak it early. The device will see its launch this Wednesday at CES, which is appropriate for how important a device it is.
