Rugged AGM X1 got Lineage OS ported on it

Lineage OS

As you all well know, CyanogenMod, the most popular custom ROM for Android, doesn’t exist anymore. But fortunately its spirit lives on with the Lineage OS. Amost all the ROMs under CyanogenMod have been ported over to Lineage OS and the company keeps rolling out new ROMs and updates to support many phone models. And now it arrives also on the rugged AGM X1.

The Lineage OS build available for the AGM X1 is a fully stable and tested one based upon Android 6.0 Marshmallow so if you are searching for all the nifty features you are used to from your Cyanogen days this is the way to go. And we have for you a video showing the phone running this build highlighting some of the crucial points.

AGM X1 is not the usual run-of-the-mill rugged phone and actually tries to deliver some reasonable hardware too. So it packs 5,5-inch Super AMOLED FullHD display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of expandable storage, 5400 mAh battery with QC 3.0, 13 Mpix dual camera on the back,5 Mpix selfie shooter, IP68 certification and more.

You can find more about the phone on the official website and you can also currently get $50 off the retail price in the Aliexpress store paying only $249.99 for this dual camera rugged cookie.

AGM X1 seems completely copied Blackview BV6000, I think BV6000 is the first rugged smartphone.

They are all IP68 and that’s probably the only features they share. AGM X1 runs Qualcomm SoC and packs dual camera, completely top-notch device which Blackview has nothing to compare with.

The lineage image of this phone is nowhere to be found… so do not buy it if you don’t want to be stuck with Android 5.1 (remember: storage amount problems on your root filesystem!). I wish there was remixos for it.
