Watch: Maze Comet Real Drop Test – Corning Gorilla Glass 5 in Action

Chinese phone manufacturer Maze seem to have done a good job as far as durability goes on their latest Maze Comet. The handset does indeed appear to come out just fine from lots of different kinds of drops at various heights. Let’s check it out in the video below.

The good durability of the Maze Comet is probably given by the genuine leather back cover that works as a dampener in some way and the high quality Corning Gorilla Glass 5 used to cover the display.

Since we’re talking about the display, the smartphone sports a large 5.7-inch InCell screen with the fancy 18:9 aspect ratio, meanwhile under the hood we find a nice 4000mAh capacity battery.

The Maze Comet, in its metal and calfskin body, will be available in Quite Black and Deep Blue color variants by the end of October.
