Launched: Q Control is Fossils Maiden Sports Smartwatch

This year alone, Fossil has announced about 300 smartwatches and now, it has launched yet another wearable but this product is different from the others – it is the company’s first true sports-oriented smartwatch dubbed Q Control.

This smartwatch targets a specific range of customers and it is expected to run Android Wear 2.0  which means that it will be compatible with iOS 9 and above and Android smartphones running OS 4.3 or later. This wearable comes with a heart rate sensor and has features like GPS, compatibility with Strava, and Google Fit. You can access Google Play Store directly from the watch as well as Google Assistant support via the built-in microphone.

Gizchina News of the week

Q Control is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor coupled with 4GB internal memory. On average usage, the battery could last for 24 hours but continuous usage would drain the power much faster. This smartwatch which includes some unique digital watch faces will be available for purchase on Fossil.com and Fossil stores this week for $275.
