For some time now, there have been rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018). Presently, information from Bluetooth SIG’s database suggests that this device will be called Galaxy A8 (2018) when it goes on sale. This suggests that Samsung is trying to unify its model’s nomenclature which may force the company to rename the larger Galaxy A7 (2018) to Galaxy A8+ (2018).
The Galaxy A8 (2018) is expected to be powered by an Exynos 7785 CPU coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It comes with an Infinity Display and uses a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) has already passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and they appeared on Wi-Fi Alliance’s database last month. These appearances indicate that these smartphones will soon arrive. As of now, there is no stipulated date for the release of this device.
