Acer Iconia One 2018

The lukewarm feeling for tablets is evident in consistently declining sales which have lead to most OEMs significantly slowing down their production while others may have entirely delisted tablets from their product portfolio. Acer is one of those still interested in making tablets, and it appears it is on the verge of releasing one as evident from a recent listing of the 2018 Acer Iconia One 8 on the US.  FCC website.

At first glance at the Schematics seen below, the Acer Iconia One 8 2018 doesn’t look all that different to the previous generations of the Iconia One. It is expected to be made of metallic rear cover with rounded/curved corners, a centrally placed rear camera,  a small speaker grille at the bottom right corner, while a 3.5mm audio jack and the power and volume buttons are located to the top and at the right-hand side respectively.
