Today has been quite eventful with respect to the Moto G6 line of smartphones. This is the third report surrounding the G6 family and details the specifications of the Moto G6 Plus. Although there are no renders of the phone, expect it to bear similarities in design to the G6, albeit with a few changes here and there.
Moto G6 Plus Specifications
The G6 Plus is reported to sport a 5.93-inch FHD+(2160 x 1080) display which will have an 18:89 aspect ratio. Under the hood will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. A 12MP+5MP camera sits on the back and a 16MP camera an upgrade to the 8MP on the G6 sits in the front. The G6 PLus will be powered by a 3200mAh battery and Android 8.0
According to the report from Android Headlines, the Moto G6 will be splash resistant thanks to the P2i nano-coating. The display will be protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and have an edge-to-edge design. The 8MP snapper on the G6 will support facial recognition. Also improved is the camera software which will now allow “selective focus” found on the Moto X4 and Z series smartphones. Best shot, active photos, beautification modes are some of the few features the G6 will come with. Also present will be the Attentive Display that Moto introduced with the first Moto X.
Since the G6 Plus will be a more powerful and bigger version of the G6, expect it to come with all the above features too.
