HP outs a detachable Chromebook with a stylus that costs $599

If you’ve been an avid Chromebook user, then the last few months have been good for you. Chromebooks are finally now running Android apps and it is about to get better. While the visual overhaul of Chrome OS will take a while, HP has launched a detachable Chromebook laptop worth writing about. Branded as Chromebook X2, the tablet comes complete with a detachable backlit keyboard, and a stylus for a price tag of $599. That is a sweet deal when you see some manufacturers selling a stylus separately for $100.

The guts of the Chromebook X2 rest solely in the tablet part which is supported by the hinge. This means there are no kickstands needed. It has a 7th Gen Intel Core M3 processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 32GB of storage. The storage is definitely on the smaller side considering many smartphones these days come with 64GB of storage.
