Shortly after posters of its launch showed up two days back, the Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite are now under pre-order phase in China. Both the handsets have leaked extensively and the pre-order page lays it all bare for everyone to see. Hence, we now have the complete spec sheet of both the devices. But first, let’s check out the prices.
The Galaxy A9 Star is priced expensively at 3,699 Yuan (US$ 576) and can be bought in Black and White colours. While the A9 Star Lite costs 2699 yuan (US$ 420) and has Black and Blue colour options. Pre-orders are online at Samsung’s China online store as of now and will continue till June 14th. On shelf-availability is from June 15.
Starting with the bigger Galaxy A9 Star, It has a big 6.28-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display and an Infinity design. It rocks the Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. These are pretty decent specs but a bit hard to pay for looking at the OnePlus 6.
The camera is as impressive with a 24MP + 16MP arrangement on the rear. The front camera is also a 24 MP sensor. It runs Android Oreo backed by a 3,700mAh battery. Both the siblings support 4G VoLTE, dual SIM and come with fingerprint readers at the back.
On the other hand, the A9 Star Lite spec sheet is a copy paste of the Galaxy A6+ that was launched in India recently.
