vivo X21 Gets Update To Improve Its Fingerprint Recognition Efficiency


On March 21st, vivo released the vivo X21 which is a full-screen smartphone with an on-screen fingerprint sensor. This smartphone is the second device to come with an on-screen fingerprint sensor after vivo launched the vivo X20 Plus with the feature earlier making it the first smartphone in the world to sport an on-screen fingerprint scanner.

Today, the company announced that the vivo X21 has started receiving a system update which is focused on enhancing the fingerprint recognition experience. The update log shows that it will improve the vivo X21’s fingerprint recognition processing logic, improving the security and efficiency of fingerprint recognition module. In addition, vivo X21 also upgraded the built-in notepad version, added new features such as sticky notes, optimized the driving mode with a more comfortable driving experience. At the system level, the new update optimizes the status bar icon layout, displays more elements, optimized the system resource scheduling mechanism, and improved the system operating efficiency.
