Talking about the difference between 5G and 4G, Xu Zhijun said that compared with 4G, 5G has faster speed, lower delay, and more connections. Due to the integration of a stronger encryption algorithm, privacy protection, and authentication mechanisms, the security mechanism has become stronger, which means that 5G is more secure than 4G.

He said that Huawei has issued a statement on May 15, 2018, stating that Huawei as the main contributor and patentee of the 5G standard will continue to abide by the FRAND principle; Huawei is willing to cooperate with standard partners in the 5G industry and it will share more innovative technologies so as to build a healthy 5G ecological environment through open and equal cooperation.
