Leak: Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Might Come in 5 Colours

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is slated for a 9 August release in New York City, just a few weeks from now. While leaks and reports have been pouring from all sides for a while now, a recent leak alleged that the Note 9 will be available in 5 colours.

The report is based on the leaked model code of the Note 9 stylus which carries the same colour as the phone. The new S pen carries the model code: EJ-PN960. The complete list of the colours is given below:

  • PN960BBEGWW: Black
  • PN960BJEGWW: Gray
  • PN960BVEGWW: Violet / Purple
  • PN960BLEGWW: Blue
  • PN960BAEGWW: Brown

There might be a gold colour variant too but that has not been confirmed yet. The brown colour is said to be somewhat closer to gold, based on previous Galaxy smartphones.

Gizchina News of the week

The S pen has cleared the FCC confirming the presence of Bluetooth on board. While it’s not clear what the bluetooth functionality will be used for., speculations are rife that the S Pen will be able to control music remotely via Bluetooth, or take pictures and could even be used as a pointer for presentations.

Apart from this, we know that the Samsung Galaxy note 9 wil feature a 6.38-inch, 2960 x 1440p display, dual rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845/ Exynos 9810 depending upon the market coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The storage variants are not yet known. It is expected to sport a 4,000mAh battery, Android 8.1 Oreo and Bixby 2.0 A case render leak from yesterday confirmed the repositioning of the fingerprint scanner. It will now sit below the dual cameras on the back instead of the awkward placement on the Note 8. Stay tuned for more!
