The Oppo A3S’ spec sheet had made an appearance earlier. Alleged sibling to the A3, the A3S’ renders, and specifications have leaked. The phone is now up for display in all its glory.
Let’s talk about the design. The phone follows in the footsteps of the Oppo A3 with a notched display up top. The overall design remains the same as the A3 sans the diamond patterned back. The Oppo A3S also brings with it a dual camera setup as compared to the single camera on its alleged sibling. Another notable feature is the massive battery. The phone sports a glass and metal design with the metal sandwiched between the glass on the front and the back. The phone is thin at 8.2mm and stands tall at 156.2mm albeit with a large 6.2-inch display thanks to the notch. The phone is not too wide at 75.6m and can easily be used with one hand. The power button and sim tray sits on the right while the volume rockers sit on the left side of the frame. The back sports a dual camera sans fingerprint scanner, meaning it will come with facial unlock as the primary method of security.

I do not understand why my hands are playing any role in facial unlock. An in-display fingerprint scanner is not a choice here as the phone seems to be aimed for the mid-range market. The dual camera brings with it the usual software enhancements, beauty mode, portrait mode, etc. Nothing new to see here. The battery is a massive 4230mAh which sets this phone apart from others. The launch date of this phone is not known but since it has made an appearance in all its glory, expect a launch in the coming weeks.
