Huawei will launch some new generation mobile phones in the middle of 2019 and they will use 5G he said.
Kirin 980 which was released at the IFA show earlier this month has paved the way for 5G technology. It is the first to match the baseband with LTE Cat.21. The industry’s highest downlink rate is 1.4Gbps, including 4×4 MIMO 1.2Gbps (three-carrier aggregation) and 2×2 MIMO 200Mbps.
