Samsung Galaxy J4+ and J6+ officially released in India

Samsung took the wraps off the budget Galaxy J4+ and J6+ smartphones today. The duo of handsets is now available for purchase in India for $150 and $200, respectively. Their availability should be expanded to more Asian countries in the coming weeks, but there is no confirmation of the date.

Until the moment, there’s no word telling if the duo of budget smartphones will make their way to Europe. The Galaxy J6+ is being offered in Black, Red, and Blue color variants, while the Galaxy J4+ has Black, Blue, and Gold.

Gizchina News of the week

The Galaxy J6+ will be marked as the first Samsung smartphone to boast a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The processing power is ensured by the low-tier Snapdragon 450 paired 4GB of RAM and 64GB of Storage. The handset boasts a tall 6-inch display with 18:9 ratio and 1440×720 pixels of resolution. On the rear, there is a dual-camera setup of 13MP+5MP sensors, while on the front there is a single 8MP selfie snapper.

When it comes to the budget Galaxy J4+ it surprisingly boasts the same specs of the Galaxy J4+ with variations in the amount of RAM and Storage. The Galaxy J4+ has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It doesn’t carry a fingerprint scanner, which is underwhelming. Both devices are fueled by a 3,300mAh battery and run Android Oreo out-the-box.

To attract even more attention to the budget handsets, Samsung is offering “One Time Screen Replacement” for Indian customers for just $14.
