Samsung Galaxy M20 to have 5000mAh battery and waterdrop notch

Fresh off of the rumor mill we’ve got news about the Samsung Galaxy M20. The Galaxy M20 was originally rumored to kill off the Galaxy J-line of devices, and it’s looking more likely by the day. The M20 is looking like a particularly impressive mid-ranger for the Korean company.

The device has an absolutely massive 5000mAh battery, along with a subtle waterdrop notch up top. There’s still some chin below the display, though it’s at least not massively noticeable. Thankfully, Samsung hasn’t gotten rid of the headphone jack on the M20 like most of their contemporaries have.

Gizchina News of the week

91Mobiles believes that the Galaxy M20 will have anĀ Exynos 7885 SoC with 3GB of RAM, firmly planting itself in mid-range territory. There’s also clearly space for dual cameras, we can expect to those too. Pricing for the Samsung mid-ranger will allegedly beĀ under RsĀ 15,000 (~$215), further cementing its mid-range status.

Overall, it seems like Samsung’s got a pretty decent showing this time around. Another model called the M10 was also rumored to be in development for under Rs 10,000 (~$140). After all the funky technology they’ve been cramming in their phones, a revamped mid-range line seems to be exactly what Samsung needs.
