Huawei P30 to boast triple-camera setup, 5x lossless zoom and more

When it comes to the minimum aspects of innovation, we can say the Huawei took this year slice of the “next big thing” cake with some minor, but interesting ideas on its smartphones. While the other companies, pretty much stacked with lackluster handsets, that while solid brought us just new things, the company started new trends with their gradient finishes and multiple camera setups. The Huawei P20 series started a new era proving that dual rear cameras aren’t just enough.

Considering the success of P20, the expectation for the next year Huawei P30 series is quite high. According to a new tweet shared by the popular tipster, Evan Blass from Evleaks, the new devices will not disappoint when it comes to the camera department. According to Evan’s report, the Huawei 30 will arrive with a new triple-camera setup on the rear.

Gizchina News of the week

Just like this year’s Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, the P30 handsets will come with a camera that supports up to 40MP of resolution. This will help to improve the quality of the picture by combining four pixels into one, thus creating a superior 10MP image. Alongside the main sensor, we should see a telephoto camera which, like previous models, will allow the phone to offer support for 5x lossless zoom. The third camera unit, would not be a monochrome sensor like in the previous Huawei P-smartphones, instead, Huawei will employ a wide-angle lens solution.

When it comes to the selfie snapper, Huawei is expected to employ a 24MP camera unit, but the sensor should receive an upgrade that will result in pictures with improved image quality. Unfortunately, no details about the camera setup in the Huawei P30 Pro were provided. All we know is that this premium variant is expected to come with an additional fourth camera unit. Also, it is expected to feature Sony’s recently released 38MP snapper.
