A new post was found by the tipster IceUniverse on Weibo, revealing what seems to be a screen protector for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10+. The accessory reveals two cutouts in the upper right corner to match the dual in-screen camera sensors for the phone Infinity-O display. Worth noting that the bezels of the new model are way thinner than on last year’s model, the top bezel of the screen protector also reveals a cutout that is meant for the speaker. Like its predecessors, the phone will come with curved edges.
In addition to the leaked pictures, the same Weibo’s post brings some comparisons between Samsung’s upcoming model and the bezels found in iPhone X and Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Two months ago, reports surfaced revealing that the Galaxy S10+ would come with a screen-to-body-ratio of 93.4%, which is more than Galaxy S9+ 83.7%, more than iPhone XS Max 84.3%, and more than Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro 87.8%. A browser benchmark test was also provided, confirm that the phone will indeed come with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Samsung Galaxy S10+ is expected to debut alongside its brothers, Galaxy S10 and S10 Lite during Samsung’s event which could happen late in February during MWC 2019. This year edition of the event will run from February 25th to February 28th. After the lackluster S9 and S9+, Samsung is really putting some effort into the new handsets, and through the Infinity-O technology, the company is keen to revolutionize the segment once again.
