Samsung Galaxy A8s will soon go official in the global markets


The Samsung Galaxy A8s is the first smartphone with the Infinity-O display, the display which will be used in Samsung’s Galaxy S10 series. The sales price of the device is 2,900 Yuan, corresponding to approximately $430. Now it looks that the phone is getting ready to be available outside of the Chinese market.

A new version of the phone has been certified by both the FCC and the Wi-Fi Alliance. The A8s’ model number is SM-G887, and this new iteration is SM-G887N. The “N” suffix in Samsung’s naming scheme is usually reserved for devices that are to be sold in its home market, South Korea.Ā The Galaxy A8s smartphone with Infinity-O display may soon appear in the South Korean market. It is worth to mention that the phone has a large 6.4-inch IPSĀ Full HD+ (2340 x 1080) panel and a 19:5:9 aspect ratio, meanwhile the little camera cut out is 6.7mm in diameter.

Beneath the screen that almost fully covers the front side for a 91.56% (thicker chin still there), we find a mid-range, yet powerful, Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 CPU paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

As far as cameras are concerned, the more interesting one, placed at the front, is of 24MP resolution and f/2.0 aperture with support for face recognition.
